03/02/01 FTA Executive Staff visit
| FTA Executive Staff attended a site visit at
the main location for FTA TEAM located in Herndon Virginia. The visit took place on Friday, March 2, 2001 and lasted
approximately two hours. The
group toured the facility meeting the people and viewing the hardware
that make TEAM a reality.

02/04/01 Region 10 Seattle Training
From 4 February through 8 February 2001, FTA Headquarters, and CA, provided support for Region 10’s internal TEAM system training in Seattle, Washington. Approximately 60 users took advantage of the training, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. The successful integration of administrative and managerial FTA experience, user familiarity from the recipient perspective, and CA networking and system expertise created an efficient and highly productive learning environment. Linda Gherke, Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 10, provided oversight for the training effort. Elizabeth Sier, Transportation Program Specialist for Region 10, was the primary instructor for the users. Patricia Lavine, Director of Resource Management & State Programs, presented FTA policies and procedures involved with the grant management process. Gregory D. Brown Transportation Program Specialist, and Nathan Phillips, CA Consultant, assisted in the instruction. Ali Sedghi, CA Consultant, provided technical support and networking for the dedicated training system.
